Sir Mix-A-Lot

So just nowish I was asked by a blog reader in that far off land known as Canada if I use one of those fancy schmancy Kitchen-Aid stand mixers. To which I have to answer no, I use one of those fancy Kitchen-Aid hand mixers pictured below.

Here’s my advice to any cooking aficionados out there. At the time of marriage, don’t be a total putz like me. REGISTER!!!!

hahahahahahah!!!!You know what…. I *totally* knew that you used your hands, somehow. I was coming home just now from the temple and it occured to me… It seems to me that a mechanical mixer is just beneath the standards of Sabjimata’s quality fare… lolWell, fortunately for me, I married into a Vitamix and RECEIVED a great, sturdy food processor for my 1st marriage. If you can’t register… I say just marry multiple times… And if it can’t be to 2 dfferent men, then do like me… 2 weddings to the same guy! lolSo, that makes it 3 weddings, 2 men and ONE keeper… Oh, and a Vitamix…

my dearie—first of all…i have had 3 weddings also (to three different men) and the best i scored was a 7 cup food processor which basically can handle only one batch of cookies at a time. since i do a two batch minimum…well…let’s just say we are working on a 14 cup food processor.the stand mixer is still a dream. i would not mind trading in my fleshy dough hooks for some metal ones…but it is true…there was a time (pre-y2k) that i thought anyone mixing anything less than 50 cups of flour with a hobart was a pansy. but i have so gotten over it.i am going to have another wedding to the same guy…#3 for anyone keeping track…but i don’t really think anyone will actually give me a stand mixer. but if someone would like to…remember..i like color! especially orange.

You know, you have enough friends in NC that if you did in fact have another wedding, it would be possible to organize a group gift of this scale!!! But you would probably have to get married in NC. . . πŸ˜‰
