So the cherries really did inspire me last nite. In addition to making more conserve, I also made Cherry Sauce. This syrupy delight is chock full of cherries; the perfect topping for all your summer frozen treats. I had just made a batch of fresh buttermilk biscuits (as per my son’s request….God bless the girl he ends up marrying, because she better be willing to cook on demand for this boy) so I decided to do a little dipping. Sure, gravy and biscuits are the traditional pairing, but I’m all for breaking tradition. Especially when cherries are involved.
